Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu
Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Asadul Habib Dulu stated on Friday that the future trajectory of the nation rests on improving the quality of education, affirming that Bangladesh will truly transform once educational standards are elevated.
The minister made the remarks as the chief guest at an exchange of views meeting with heads of institutions and educators from madrasas, technical institutes, and colleges across Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila, held on the Sadar Upazila Parishad premises.
Dulu observed that today’s students will build the nation of tomorrow. Consequently, education must transcend mere exam grades to instill genuine knowledge, practical skills, moral ethics, and patriotism.
Urging educators and institutional heads to embrace greater sincerity and accountability, the minister called for proactive measures to improve the learning environment, ensure regular student attendance, reduce dropout rates, and integrate students with modern technological know-how. Highlighting the role of educators as the architects of the nation, he emphasized that the destiny of an entire generation depends heavily on teachers' devotion and integrity.
The meeting was also addressed by Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner Muh. Rashedul Haque Pradhan and Zila Parishad Administrator A K M Mominul Haque.
