On Monday, February 16, 2026, Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union, B-985, affiliated with the Bangladesh Nationalist Sramik Dal, organized a special prayer and milad ceremony to express gratitude to Almighty Allah following the overwhelming electoral victory of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.The event was attended by the bank’s Deputy Managing Directors Md. A. Rahim and Md. Khaleduzzaman, along with Md. Zahid Hossain, Chief Coordinator of the Nationalist Forum (Deputy Managing Director), and Syed Liaqat Hossain, one of the coordinators (Deputy Managing Director). Other key attendees included Foiz Uddin Ahmed, President of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union (CBA), B-985, General Secretary Md. Miraj Hossain, and officials and staff from various levels of the bank.During the ceremony, prayers were offered for the peace, stability, development, and democratic progress of the country. Special supplications were also made for the success and prosperity of the newly elected government. The union reaffirmed its respect for the democratic process and expressed hope for the continued advancement of national progress.
