Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC inaugurated its month-long campaign titled “Ibadat-Savings-Donation: Three Blessings of Ramadan” on 17 February 2026 at the Islami Bank Tower. The campaign aims to promote the bank’s welfare-oriented products and services among customers.
As part of the initiative, the bank is highlighting several offerings including the Mudaraba Waqf Cash Deposit Account, Mudaraba Hajj Savings Account, Mudaraba Mohr Savings Account, Mudaraba Marriage Savings Account, Digital Donation Box, and the Mudaraba Umrah Savings Scheme.
The inauguration was graced by the bank’s Managing Director, Md. Omar Faruk Khan, as the chief guest. The program was presided over by Deputy Managing Director Md. Mahbub Alam, with speeches delivered by Additional Managing Director Engineer Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumdar and Dr. M Kamal Uddin Josim. Senior executives from the bank’s head office were present, while all zone heads, branch managers, and sub-branch in-charges joined the ceremony via a virtual platform.
The campaign seeks to encourage customers to combine faith, savings, and charitable giving during the holy month of Ramadan.
