On Wednesday, 25 February 2026, Janata Bank PLC held a meeting of its Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO) at the bank’s head office, chaired by Managing Director Md. Mojibur Rahman.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Managing Directors Kazi Abdur Rahman and Md. Foyez Alam, along with other senior General Managers and relevant Deputy General Managers.
During the session, Managing Director Md. Mojibur Rahman provided strategic directives in light of the current financial situation. Key instructions included promoting low-interest deposits, increasing foreign remittances, focusing on the recovery and reduction of classified loans, and ensuring collection of written-off loans, among other necessary measures.
