As part of its Ramadan remittance festival, Islamic Bank Bangladesh PLC awarded a motorcycle to customer Md. Ataur Rahman of the North Shahjahanpur branch for receiving a cash remittance through Ria Money Transfer.The handover ceremony was held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the bank’s VIP Road branch, where the motorcycle keys were presented to the customer by the bank’s Additional Managing Director, Md. Altaf Hussain, who served as the chief guest.Also present at the event were Deputy Managing Director Md. Rafiqul Islam, VIP Road Branch Manager Md. Nur Ullah, Head of Overseas Banking Division Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, North Shahjahanpur Sub-branch In-Charge Mohammad Masum Billah, Ria Money Transfer Bangladesh Country Manager Rashedul Islam Talukdar, and Assistant Operations Manager Md. Arafat Hossain.This initiative is part of the bank’s Ramadan celebration, in which customers receiving cash remittances via Ria Money Transfer are entered into a digital raffle draw. Every banking day from Sunday to Thursday, one motorcycle is awarded, totaling 20 motorcycles over the campaign period. Additionally, remittance customers are eligible to receive other common gifts.The promotion will continue until March 18, 2026, providing an opportunity for customers to win prizes while sending or receiving remittances during the holy month.
