B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) program of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) has officially been awarded the accreditation certificate by the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC). This prestigious recognition was granted for successfully fulfilling all criteria of the Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework in ensuring quality education.
The certificate was handed over to the BUBT representatives at a ceremony held on Thursday, March 12, at the BAC office. On behalf of the university, the certificate was received by Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed, Treasurer; Dr. Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Registrar; Prof. Dr. Ameer Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences; Prof. Dr. K. Ahmed Alam, Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC, BUBT); and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Mansur, Chairman of the EEE Department.
According to the Accreditation Rules 2022, this certificate will remain valid for the next five years. This accreditation is expected to significantly enhance the professional skills, global recognition, and prestige of BUBT’s EEE graduates in both the national and international job markets and higher education sectors.
Congratulating everyone involved in this glorious achievement, the university authorities stated that BUBT has been committed to ensuring qualitative higher education since its inception. This global-standard recognition of the EEE department is a reflection of those relentless efforts. They credited the collective hard work of the faculty members, students, and officials for this success.
It is noteworthy that the Bangladesh Accreditation Council, an autonomous body, works to monitor and elevate the standards of higher education in the country to an international level. This milestone for the EEE department marks a significant step forward in BUBT's journey toward educational excellence in Bangladesh.
