On March 16, 2026, a special prayer session was held at the mosque of Bangladesh Krishi Bank for the speedy recovery of Mirza Abbas MP, member of the National Standing Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and political advisor to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, as well as renowned labor leader Nazrul Islam Khan. The initiative was organized by the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees’ Union B-985, CBA.The event was attended by the bank’s Deputy Managing Director, General Managers, Deputy General Managers, and leaders of the Officers’ Welfare Association, along with other officials and staff members. The prayer session was presided over by CBA President Foyez Uddin Ahmed and conducted by General Secretary Md. Miraj Hossain.
