In a digital raffle organized as part of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC’s Ria Money Transfer Festival, two customers were awarded motorcycles for receiving cash remittances. Moin Uddin, a customer of the Comilla Nangalkot branch, received the 19th motorcycle, while Md. Ziaul Haque of the Feni branch received the 20th motorcycle.Moin Uddin’s award was based on a remittance sent by Nasir Uddin from the United States, and Md. Ziaul Haque received his motorcycle from a remittance sent by Mohammad Mominul Haque from South Africa.The digital raffle draw was held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Islami Bank Tower, with the bank’s Managing Director Md. Omar Faruk Khan attending as the chief guest. Other officials present included Deputy Managing Director Md. Rafiqul Islam, Head of Foreign Remittance Services Division Md. Motahar Hossain Molla, Head of Overseas Banking Division Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Head of Foreign Trade Processing Division Md. Daud Khan, as well as Ria Money Transfer Bangladesh’s Country Manager Rashedul Islam Talukdar and Assistant Operations Manager Md. Arafat Hossain.
As part of the Ramadan festival celebration, Islami Bank has been awarding 20 motorcycles to cash remittance recipients through Ria Money Transfer via digital raffle draws, held every banking working day (Sunday–Thursday) throughout the month.
