Under the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, a ceremony was held on March 30, 2026, at the Prime Minister’s Office of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. In the first phase, a total of 129 national athletes were awarded special honors and financial rewards for their outstanding achievements, including sports allowances, sports cards, and recognition for international success. During the event, the Hon’ble Prime Minister congratulated the members of the Bangladesh Bridge Open Team for their participation in the 47th World Bridge Championship held in 2025.
