Mutual Trust Bank (MTB), as the lead bank, along with 41 other scheduled banks, recently organized the “Student Banking Conference 2026” in Narayanganj to raise awareness among students about financial literacy and savings habits.
Md. Ali Hossain, Additional Director of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank,attended the event as the Chief Guest, while Nisat Afroz Binny, Joint Director of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank, attended as the Special Guest.
The program was chaired by Md. Shafquat Hossain, Deputy Managing Director of Mutual Trust Bank PLC. Around 450 participants, including students, teachers, and representatives from various banks operating in Narayanganj, attended the event.
The program was inaugurated with a colorful rally, which marched through the surrounding areas before entering the main venue hall. Subsequently, students and teachers shared their valuable opinions and experiences. There was also an interactive quiz session for the students, which engaged them in a lively and educational manner. Representatives from various banks, along with distinguished guests from Bangladesh Bank, delivered important speeches on financial inclusion, the importance of savings, and student banking activities. Finally, the program concluded with a delightful cultural performance.
