MTB Foundation recently celebrated the successful graduation of the first batch of MTB UCEP Skills Training Institute (MUSTI), the flagship project of MTB Foundation under the ‘Education’ sector by distributing certificates to the graduates who successfully completed the six-month market-relevant skills training accredited by National Skills Development Authority (NSDA). The ceremony marks a significant milestone in the journey of project MUSTI, which aims to provide skills training to 1,200 underprivileged youth over a period of three years. Crests were awarded to top performing trainers in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the successful implementation of the course.
Under this program, trainees completed their training across five specialized trades, namely; Beautification, Tailoring and Dress Making, Bakery and Pastry Production, Graphic Design, and Electrical Installation and Maintenance equipping them with industry-relevant technical competencies and professional skills aimed at enhancing employability and promoting entrepreneurship.
The certificate distribution ceremony of the first batch of the MTB UCEP Skills Training Institute (MUSTI) was held in the presence of Rais Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Nazrul Islam, Branch Manager, MTB Mymensingh Branch, Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) and Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, Golam Rabbani & Nazmus Sakib, Associates of MTB Foundation. Abu Saleh Mohammed Ferdous Khan, Director, Public Partnership Management and Md. Humayun Kabir, Regional Manager from UCEP Bangladesh were also present in the event.
