Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC and Paragon Hotel & Resort, located in Sreemangal of Moulvibazar, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on June 14, 2026, at the bank’s corporate head office. The agreement was signed in the presence of Deputy Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Md. Zafar Sadek, FCA. On behalf of the bank, AVP of the Card Division Md. Shafiul Islam and Deputy General Manager of Paragon Hotel & Resort Md. Zahirul Islam Kaiyum signed the document representing their respective organizations. After the signing ceremony, the Deputy Managing Director formally handed over the agreement documents to the hotel representative. Under this partnership, Visa debit and credit cardholders of Shahjalal Islami Bank will be eligible to enjoy up to 60 percent discount on room rental at Paragon Hotel & Resort.
Senior officials from both organizations were present at the ceremony, including the Head of Human Resources of the bank AKM Hasan Rahim, Head of Retail Business Md. Khirkil Nowaz, SVP of the Card Division Md. Ikraur Rahman Tulu, Head of Public Relations and Bank Foundation KM Harunur Rashid, and Assistant Manager of Sales and Marketing of Paragon Hotel & Resort Md. Arfin Hossain.
