Bengal Islamic Life Insurance Limited has extended warm greetings and congratulations to the newly appointed Chairman of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), Meir Nadia Nivin.
On Thursday (June 25, 2026), during a courtesy meeting held at the IDRA head office, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bengal Islamic Life Insurance Limited, M. M. Monirul Alam, and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mohammad Alamgir Kabir greeted the newly appointed chairman with flowers and conveyed their best wishes for a successful tenure. The meeting was also attended by IDRA Member (Administration) Md. Fazlul Haque and Member (Life) Md. Apel Mahmud.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues related to the overall development of the country’s insurance sector, establishment of good governance, expansion of customer service, technology-driven insurance operations, and increasing insurance awareness. Representatives of Bengal Islamic Life Insurance expressed hope that under the capable leadership of Meir Nadia Nivin, the insurance industry of Bangladesh would become more dynamic, transparent, and modern, while public trust and acceptance of insurance would continue to grow.
