Anika Ibnat Tuba, a reporter at Dainik Barta, has received the prestigious TRUB Business and CSR Award 2025 in recognition of her dedication, professionalism, and contribution to journalism.
The award ceremony was held at a hotel in the capital on 5 May 2026.
Salam Mahmud, president of Television Reporters’ Unity of Bangladesh (TRUB), and Hafiz Rahman, organizing secretary, spoke at the event. Other attendees included prominent journalists, business leaders, and corporate executives.
Notably, the Television Reporters’ Unity of Bangladesh (TRUB) has been recognizing professional excellence and contributions to journalism and other sectors for nearly three decades.
Because Tuba was residing in the United States at the time of the ceremony, she was unable to attend the event. She subsequently returned home and formally received her award on 28 July.
After receiving the award, Tuba expressed her gratitude to TRUB, saying, “Any recognition inspires me to work harder. I am truly honored and encouraged to receive this prestigious award. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the officials of TRUB for this recognition.”
