A program organized by the Chittagong University Alumni Association was conducted by former VP of Chaksur and BNP leader AKM Fazlul Haque at the Chittagong Club at 11 am on Friday. The meeting was addressed by former VP of Chaksur Mr. Jasimuddin Sarker, former VP of Chaksur Mr. Mazharul Islam, former VP of Chaksur Mr. Shamsuzzaman Hira, former teacher of Chittagong University Professor Dr. Tofail Ahmed Wadud Bhuiyan and many others. The partial committee of the Chittagong University Alumni Association was announced in the meeting. Mr. SM Fazlul Haque, a son of Hathazari, former VP of Chaksur of Chittagong University, was nominated for the post of president of the committee.
If the Alumni Association works in a united manner, it can play a big role in the development of Chittagong University. The newly elected president of the Chittagong University Alumni Association, AKM Fazlul Haque, said that the desired goal has not been achieved due to partyization in the past. The general meeting of the Chittagong University Alumni Association was held at the Chittagong Club in the morning.
