Prime Minister Tariq Rahman inaugurated a national physician assembly organized by the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) at the LD Hall of the National Parliament on Saturday morning, commemorating the organization's 37th founding anniversary.

Prior to the formal proceedings, the Prime Minister planted a neem sapling on the Parliament grounds, accompanied by his spouse, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, who planted a separate tree sapling to mark the event. Following the national anthem and the ceremonial hoisting of the organizational flag, the Prime Minister launched the official proceedings by releasing two peace doves.
The inaugural event brought together high-ranking political and medical figures, including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, DAB President Professor Dr. Harun Al Rashid, and General Secretary Dr. Md. Zohirul Islam Shakil.
