State Minister for Religious Affairs Mohammad Shamim Kaiser has declared that the administration is firmly committed to executing every stipulation of the July Charter to the letter, calling upon citizens to grant the government time to comprehensively reform the younger generation.
Addressing an academic assembly on Thursday afternoon at the North South University auditorium in the capital's Baridhara area—convened to mark the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi celebrating the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)—the state minister emphasized that striving for excellence remains the ultimate pathway to success.
Presided over by North South University Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, the commemorative seminar featured NSU Board of Trustees member and former chairman Benzir Ahmed as special guest, alongside Department of Management Chairman Dr. Ziaul Haque Adnan as keynote speaker.
Citing verses from the Holy Quran, the state minister noted that the Prophet's character embodies supreme exemplary conduct, serving as a universal mercy for all realms, and urged attendees to earnestly follow his guidance while shunning forbidden acts. Reaffirming his political commitment during the event, State Minister Mohammad Shamim Kaiser stated:
"We will implement the July Charter word for word, Inshallah, and with a little time and collective effort, we will completely transform our future generations."
Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury remarked that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) exemplified selfless humanism, dedicating his existence to the betterment of all humanity. Keynote speaker Dr. Ziaul Haque Adnan detailed five cardinal lessons from the Prophet's life emphasizing patience, empathy, and ethical integrity, while Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Nesar U. Ahmed also addressed the gathering.
The observance featured Quran recitation, Islamic musical renditions, and a documentary screening, concluding with a special prayer conducted by senior management lecturer M.M. Nawaz Amin before an audience of faculty, students, administrative staff, and invited guests.
