Addressing diplomatic correspondents on Wednesday (September 30) regarding the summit discussions, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir reaffirmed that high-level visits are being coordinated methodically. Highlighting the diplomatic roadmap, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir said, "And of course, you know, at some point, with a conducive environment in place, a visit by the Prime Minister also… We had a very good discussion." Kobir explained that the exact timing of the prime minister's visit would be determined later through mutual consultations, reiterating, "So, we will do a visit when the environment is conducive, based on mutual respect."
When questioned by correspondents regarding media speculation suggesting November 2026 as a prospective timeframe for the state visit, State Minister Kobir explicitly declined to entertain rumors. Dismissing unsubstantiated dates, State Minister Humaiun Kobir said, "There are many rumours, but I do not talk about rumours. I talk about reality, and the reality is that we had a very good meeting today." Kobir reaffirmed Bangladesh's firm commitment to working with India in a forward-looking, mutually respectful manner on shared priorities that deliver tangible economic and security benefits to the peoples of both nations.
