According to an official notice issued by the PM's Press Wing, the media briefing will be held at 3:30 pm at the Korobi Hall of the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka. Key administration officials, including the Prime Minister's Adviser and PMO spokesperson Mahdi Amin, Press Secretary Saleh Shibli, and Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon, are scheduled to address the press corps to provide comprehensive details regarding the diplomatic and economic outcomes of the mission.
During his extensive official visit to New York, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman maintained an intensive multilateral and bilateral schedule, holding dozens of official engagements that included bilateral meetings involving 11 countries. The briefing will present a full accounting of the prime minister's address at the UN General Assembly debate, where Bangladesh's perspectives on democratic governance, international financial architecture reforms, sovereign economic rights, and regional stability were articulated before world leaders. Officials noted that the New York mission served as a pivotal platform to reassert Bangladesh's diplomatic standing on the global stage following major domestic political transitions.
The PMO spokesperson and press secretaries will provide specific details on the prime minister's sideline deliberations with foreign heads of state, multilateral development partners, and United Nations leadership. Discussions in New York encompassed expanding international funding for the Rohingya refugee humanitarian response, securing climate adaptation finance, and advancing bilateral economic ties with key global partners.
