The Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) observed Shaheed Day and International Mother Language Day with due respect and solemnity by paying tribute to the language martyrs at the Central Shaheed Minar.
At 10:00 am on Saturday, BAEC Chairman Dr. Md. Moinul Islam led the delegation in placing a wreath at the Shaheed Minar on behalf of the commission.
Among those present were Member (Bioscience) Dr. Mahfuza Khan, Member (Planning) Md. Hasinur Rahman, directors of various divisions, Director (Administration), departmental heads, nuclear scientists, and officers and employees of different levels of the commission.
The ceremony highlighted the commission’s deep respect for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the recognition of the Bengali language.
