Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury has recently been promoted to the position of Deputy Managing Director (Finance & Accounts) of Grameen Bank, in recognition of his outstanding performance and valuable contributions to the institution.
The decision was made at the 173rd meeting of the Board of Directors of Grameen Bank. Prior to this promotion, he was serving as the General Manager of the Finance and Accounts Division of the organization.
Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury was born in West Dhemsha (Ward No. 6) village of Satkania Upazila in Chattogram district. He completed his Master’s degree in Management from the University of Chittagong. In 1995, he joined Grameen Bank as a Probationary Officer.
During his professional career, he has served in several important roles within the bank, including Branch Manager, Program Officer, Area Manager, Zonal Audit Officer, Zonal Manager & Head of Division.
Through honesty, dedication, efficiency, and success at different administrative levels, Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury has made remarkable contributions to the development of the institution. Drawing on his long professional experience, he has expressed hope that he will continue to play an effective role in advancing Grameen Bank’s loan programs and deposit growth, as well as supporting the bank’s overall progress in the future.
