Ahead of Eid-ul-Azha 2026, the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party organized a Nationwide distribution of Eid gift packages for its stipend-receiving members and employees. The concluding ceremony of the welfare initiative was held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the force headquarters in Khilgaon, Dhaka, with Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud attending as the chief guest.
Under the initiative, Eid gift items were distributed among 28,365 stipend-receiving members and fourth-class employees across all 64 districts of the country. The packages included polao rice, semai, suji, powdered milk, noodles, sugar, and various cooking spices. The program was arranged to spread the joy of Eid and strengthen mutual harmony among members and employees of the force.

Speaking at the program, the Director General said the force must move forward with determination to implement its “Reform Plan 2035” and remain focused on achieving its goals. He stressed that there is no time to look back and that all members should move ahead with greater confidence by utilizing future opportunities.
He further stated that the capability of the force is steadily increasing and that the progress would accelerate through collective efforts, dedication, and sincerity. He urged every member of the force to work responsibly, diligently, and with commitment to achieve the organization’s objectives.
Deputy Director Generals, along with officials and employees of different ranks, were also present at the event. Officials concerned said such welfare-oriented initiatives reflect the organization’s commitment, compassion, and human values toward its members and employees. They expressed hope that the Eid gift distribution program would strengthen solidarity, motivation, and morale within the force while contributing positively to its unity and overall efficiency.
