Khokon Mia of Bhaluka, Mymensingh, has become a millionaire after winning Tk 1 million by purchasing a Walton refrigerator under the company’s “Digital Campaign Season-24” Eid offer.
He received a Tk 10 lakh cheque at a grand event held on Sunday (May 24, 2026) at Walton’s corporate office in Dhaka. The cheque was handed over by popular film actor Amin Khan along with Mohammad Firoz Alam, Head of Sales of Walton Distributor Network.
Other senior officials present included Tahsinul Haque, Chief Business Officer of Walton Fridge, Zohab Ahmed, Chief Marketing Officer of Walton, and Enamul Haque, owner of the distributor showroom “Haq Enterprise.”
Under the ongoing Eid-ul-Azha campaign, which began on April 8, customers purchasing Walton products such as refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, or BLDC fans are eligible to become millionaires through a digital draw. So far, six customers have already won the millionaire prize in Season-24, including Khokon Mia. Other winners include buyers from Dhaka, Natore, Bandarban, Bagerhat, and Narsingdi.
Expressing his joy, Khokon Mia said that winning Tk 10 lakh from buying a refrigerator felt like a dream and disbelief at first. He added that the prize money would help him build his dream house and thanked Walton authorities for the opportunity.
Walton officials said the campaign reflects strong consumer trust and the company’s commitment to rewarding customers. They also noted that Walton products are now exported to more than 55 countries, and such customer-centric initiatives will continue in the future.
