The two-day Half-Yearly Business Development Conference for the Chittagong region of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC concluded on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Chittagong regional office of the Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA).
Md. Altaf Husain, the Acting Managing Director of the bank, addressed the conference as the chief guest. The event also featured special remarks from Additional Managing Director Mohammed Jamal Uddin Mazumder and Deputy Managing Director Md. Mahbub Alam.
Other key speakers at the conference included G.M. Muhammed Giyas Uddin Kader, Head of Chittagong Central Zone; Md. Abdur Rob Mridha, Head of Chittagong South Zone; Muhammad Mohi Uddin, Head of Chittagong North Zone; Mohammed Sanaullah, Head of Agrabad Corporate Branch; and Sana Ullah, Head of Khatunganj Corporate Branch.
The two-day conference saw active participation from the heads of all branches under the Chittagong region, along with the chiefs of the respective investment and foreign trade divisions, who gathered to review the bank's mid-year progress and strategize for future growth.
