The award ceremony was held on October 3, 2026, at the BRAC University Auditorium. Senior executives received the accolade on behalf of Grameen HealthTech, including Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ahmed Arman Siddiqui, Chief Business and Technology Officer Mohammad Solaimun Russell, Strategic Advisor Mohammad Abul Hossain Bangabashi, Chief Marketing Officer Kingshuk Haque, Application Tech Lead Md. Tanvir Hossain, and Chief of Research, Analytics, and Customer Experience Dr. Hossain Md. Al-Amin.
Expressing gratitude to the organizers, jury board, partners, and the Grameen Group family, Dr. Ahmed Arman Siddiqui stated that the recognition belongs to every Link Worker, doctor, and service recipient who relies on Shukhee. He emphasized that healthcare should not depend on geographic location and noted that the award will inspire the team to extend quality healthcare services to every household in Bangladesh.
Designed to serve rural, underserved, and digitally excluded populations, Shukhee integrates patients, doctors, pharmacies, diagnostic centers, hospitals, caregivers, Shukhee Seba Kendro, and community-based Shukhee Link Workers into a single care ecosystem. The application offers 24/7 telemedicine, specialist consultations, digital prescriptions, medicine delivery, home diagnostics, referrals, mental health support, maternal and child healthcare, and non-communicable disease management, supported by interoperable Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
The platform features an AI-powered healthcare chatbot for 24/7 navigation, preliminary symptom intake, health education, appointment assistance, and medication reminders, alongside escalation to qualified medical professionals. Additionally, its Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) utilizes structured patient histories, clinical observations, and real-time vital signs to assist doctors in making guideline-based decisions. Operating alongside doorstep Link Workers and connected medical equipment—such as the Shukhee Sastho Bondhu 6-in-1 device—the ecosystem converts rural households into connected points of healthcare delivery.
