Bangladesh received US$9,758 million in workers' remittances from July 2026 to October 11, 2026, marking a 13.8 percent increase from US$8,573 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
According to the Bangladesh Bank latest data, the country received US$1,166 million in remittances during October 1-11, 2026, compared to US$988 million in the corresponding period of October 2025, representing an increase of 18.1 percent.
On October 11 alone, expatriate Bangladeshis sent US$177 million in remittances, according to the data.
